Philosophy

To provide early childhood education that is responsive to current best practice and principles, in partnership with families and the Orange community, and contributes significantly to positive outcomes for children.

Vision Statement

Trinity Preschool is committed to the provision of high quality early childhood education, that can be measured in terms of; education concept and practice; beautiful indoor and outdoor learning environments; interactions between educators and children; and by meeting the needs of families and local communities.

Trinity Preschool will continue to develop educational programmes that reflect
Belonging, Being and Becoming, the Early Years Learning Framework for Australia (DEEWR, 2009), in terms of pedagogy (principles and practices) and the outcomes required to enhance children’s learning, including their transition to school.

Trinity Preschool will respond to decision-making by considering the best interests of children and their right to learn and develop in a safe and nurturing environment.

Trinity Preschool will maintain an open and accountable organisational culture that is flexible and responsive to the local community, and we reflect on our practice to find ways to improve outcomes for children (DEEWR, 2009).

Trinity Preschool is a “learning community”, in that all staff are committed to professional development that enhances pedagogical practice, and personal growth. Colleagues support each other and work collaboratively to foster a culturally-safe environment for staff, children and families.
